This hole, nicknamed Hawk’s Claw, is surrounded by tall trees. Although the distance is short, it is easy to stray into the woods. Off the tee, the preferred line is a confident play from the left side, while long drivers must be especially wary of the valley to the right. The approach plays downhill. The green slopes overall from left to right and is unreceptive, making distance control critical. Take particular care not to go long, as the slope becomes more pronounced toward the back of the green.
